1969 Dodge Super Bee for sale in Manitowoc, Wisconsin

$22,500

All trades considered. This restored 1969 Dodge Coronet - Super Bee clone, done up in full Vitamin C orange paint with a white vinyl top and bumblebee stripe, will not go unnoticed. It has the classic Mopar B-Body look and big-block sound to match. This car hails from Idaho, one of the driest states in the country, and truly has no rust to speak of. You just can't beat old cars from dry climates. All the body panels are nice and straight as are the panel gaps. Everything is remarkably solid throughout. The car was originally a basic green Coronet, but not any more. Aside from the paint and top, the engine was replaced with a 383ci setup. It is mostly stock with the exception of a larger cam and Edelbrock carburetor with electric choke. It definitely sounds the part. It also has the Mopar electronic ignition. The motor is mated to a column-shifted 727 Torqueflite automatic transmission. This Bee is also equipped with power steering and manual brakes. Wheels are classic Magnum 500's with Cooper tires. The car also just had a front end alignment. To give an idea just how rust free this car is, the alignment shop reported that after loosening the jam nuts, they could turn the toe adjusters by hand! The interior has been redone as well, starting with the black-and-white houndstooth seat covers. They look fantastic and are a great accent to the rest of the car. The headliner, door panels, dash cap, and carpeting are also new. The heater, defroster, horn, wipers, washer, neutral safety switch, backup lights, emergency flasher, dome light, map light, and parking brake are all operational. The B-Body cars have proven to be some of the most desireable of the Mopars. This is a great way to get into a solid example, with all the look of a Super Bee at a fraction of the price.
